6061-T6511 extruded is the most versatile of the heat treatable aluminum alloys. It has most of the good qualities of aluminum, and it offers a wide range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It can be fabricated by many of the commonly used techniques. Length tolerances are ±1".
All rods come in 36" lengths and are AISI/SAE. Available in the following types: O-1: Oil-hardening for general tool room use. Good nondeforming characteristics. Moderate resistance to abrasion. Machinability 90%. S-7: Air-hardening molybdenum, chromium, shock resisting. High impact strength with moderate wear resistance. Machinability 95%. A-2: Air-hardening. Maximum abrasion resistance. Machinability 65%.W-1: Water hardening offers a combination of high abrasion resistance and toughness when hardened. Machinability 100%.D-2: Air hardening. Offers significantly better wear resistance and a high compressive strength. Machinability 65%.

Type 303 is highly corrosion resistant and non-magnetic. It has non-galling and non-seizing qualities which allow for easy machining and is better for lighter equipment if welding is not required. When cold worked, can become slightly magnetic. Free machining for heavier cuts in automatic machining operations. Corrosion resistant to atmospheric exposures, sterilizing solutions, most organic and many inorganic chemicals, most dyes, nitric acid and foods. Machinability is 70% (1212 crs = 100% and 1018 crs = 78%). Length tolerances are +/-1 in.Type 316 is the best corrosion resistance of the standard stainless steels. Resists pitting and most chemicals used in paper, textile and photographic industries. High temperature strength. Non magnetic. Length tolerances are +/-1 in.
Keystock is used to transmit torque from a shaft to a specific component. Size is clearly marked on each bar.
Tungsten carbide balls are used where extreme hardness and wear resistance is required. Used for applications such as bearings, ball screws, valves, coining, pivots, detents, and tips for gauges and tracers. Can also be used for ballizing, gauging, and checking.
Made from K-prene® urethane. Rods and bars are available in 80A, 90A, and 95A durometer. All are 48" long. 80A is orange, 90A is blue and 95A is red. Length tolerance is ± 1/8". Diameter or width is ±2%.

Woodruff keys are shaped like a half circle and used to lock gears and pulleys to the drive shafts of machine tools and engines. The round edge of the key is designed to fit into the keyseat, which is a curved pocket on the shaft. The flat edge of the key remains exposed and fits into the keyway, which is a rectangular groove in the gear or pulley.
