Air preparation units, commonly referred to as FRLs, are used in pneumatic systems to produce clean, compressed air for dependable operation. Available as separate components or a combined unit, we offer a complete line of filters, regulators, and lubricators to ensure the best performance from air compression systems. Compressed air filters remove particles that could damage key components, while air regulators keep the pressure at a consistent, safe level. Air lubricators add oil to the compressed air to reduce friction and keep moving parts operating smoothly. A combined FRL unit performs all three functions, but comes in a single, compact housing that allows easy assembly and disassembly for maintenance. Another key component are moisture separators that remove water from the system to reduce corrosion. We also carry a variety of FRL accessories, such as filter elements, bowl guards, oil dispensers, grease fittings, and mounting brackets.

Compressed Air Filters

Heavy Duty Air Filters have a 40 micron sintered bronze filter element with a bayonet locking ring for easy bowl removal by hand. These filters have a high strength polycarbonate bowl and supplied bowl guard.

Moisture Separators

Polycarbonate Moisture Separators filter contaminant water, dirt, and oil out of shop air using a centrifugal spinning action. The polycarbonate bowl includes an automatic float drain to expel built up liquids inside the bowl.

Compressed Air Regulators

In-Line Air Regulators are lightweight and control the volume of air reaching the tool. These regulators are designed for fine-tuning tool performance when the supply air pressure is at the correct level.

Compressed Air Lubricators

Economy Air Lubricators proportionately deliver lubricant at all air flows once the delivery rate is set. The design is and compact and durable with a transparent polycarbonate bowl and plastic guard.

Oil Dispensers

Gravity Feed Oilers are designed for heavy-duty high temperature lubricating applications. The rate of oil feed is adjustable and a lock ring maintains the setting for bearing or gear lubrication. These oilers have a three position toggle switch for easy controls.

Combined FRL Units

Combination Filter Regulator Units combine three components; an air filter, regulator, and lubricator to condition and maintain the proper air supply. These modular designs are compact and allow easy assembly and disassembly for maintenance.

Filter Elements

40 Micron Filter Elements provide excellent water removal efficiency for air filters in temperatures up to 52C / 125F. The unique deflector plate and shroud on these filters creates a swirling of the air stream for maximum water and dirt separation.

Grease Fittings

Hydraulic Grease Fittings are used to feed lubricants into hydraulic component bearings using a grease gun. These grease fittings are available in a range of styles and head types for standard, NPT, metric threaded, or press fit applications.

Metal Bowl Guards

Metal Bowl Guards protect the polycarbonate bowl on air filters in temperatures up to 52C / 125F. The unique deflector plate and shroud on these filters creates a swirling of the air stream for maximum water and dirt separation.

Mounting Brackets

Flange Mounting Brackets secure pneumatic cylinders to reduce movement and misalignment. The steel or aluminum material is durable and withstands high temperatures.
