For metal hand wheels, the most popular are cast iron handwheels for high strength solutions while providing a sturdy hand hold during adjustment. Other materials we carry are: Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Steel.

At Reid Supply we carry the types of handwheels for your application, from two spoke to six spoke wheels, solid and safety clutch variations that work with crank handles, position indicators, levers and knobs.

Lobed Knobs

Sometimes referred to as fluted knobs, lobed knobs with 10 lobes bridge a valuable gap between lobed knobs and knurled knobs by bringing wider grips than a typical knurled knob, while increasing the number of lobes over much wider gaps in knobs with fewer lobes.

They are ideal in setups where a "soft" grip is desired for hand cranking on equipment or workpieces.
