Work Supports, Grippers, Rests & Stops

Work holding is used in machining processes such as welding, assembly, milling and drilling in order to improve productivity and ensure uniform results. Work supports may be used to position a jig or to anchor oddly shaped components while they're welded. They are used to hold a work piece at a specific alignment, which helps to ensure that a hole is drilled at a precise angle or the piece is milled to a pre-determined depth. In production environments, work supports & stops allow pieces to be moved into place, clamped down, work completed, released and repeated in a timely manner without the operator having to stop to measure and align each piece. The work supports are measured & correctly set once and the process run on the entire job, drastically improving efficiency.
